Cookie Policy
By using the website, “cookies” may be placed on your device to remember certain preferences when you return or to provide functionalities. Vorwerk Romania, a company governed by Belgian law, with its registered office at 1800 Vilvoorde, Mechelsesteenweg 586 C, company registration number 1005.465.871 (hereinafter referred to as “Vorwerk”), attaches great importance to compliance with the legal framework regarding cookies. This Cookie Policy describes the conditions under which Vorwerk uses the data collected while browsing the Vorwerk websites (together referred to as the “Vorwerk Sites” or individually as a “Site”).
During your first visit, you may consent to the use of cookies by clicking the indicated button or obtain information through the banner displayed on the homepage. You may accept all cookies used on the Site, reject all cookies, or accept them selectively based on purpose or individual cookies. A user who has provided consent may withdraw their consent at any time, in accordance with the conditions set out in this policy.
"Cookies" are files placed and/or read when you access the Vorwerk Sites from your Device, which record information related to your browsing activity on the Site. "Device" refers to any equipment that allows access to the Site, including a desktop or mobile computer, smartphone, tablet, game console, connected television, voice assistant, or other terminal connected to a public telecommunications network. "User" refers to any person who accesses the Vorwerk Sites, regardless of whether they make a purchase.
Cookies are text files that record information about your internet browsing. These files are automatically placed in memory or on your hard drive by the Site when you access it. A Cookie does not contain viruses, does not automatically retrieve personal data from your disk, and does not automatically read your email address to obtain personal information. Only the issuer of the relevant Cookie can read or modify the information stored in it.
There are several types of cookies. On the Vorwerk Sites, these are placed either directly by Vorwerk ("First-party Cookies") or by Vorwerk partners ("Third-party Cookies").
3.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Their purpose is to enable or facilitate electronic communication or they are essential for providing an online service explicitly requested by users and allow the main functions of the Vorwerk Sites; without these cookies, the normal use of the Site may be affected. Within the limits of applicable law, exceptions regarding consent may apply as described in the policy above (section 3.1).
3.2. Functional Cookies
Functional Cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third parties whose services we use on our Sites.
3.3. Analytical Cookies
Analytical Cookies help us learn more about the type and volume of website visits and their origin, allowing us to continuously improve the attractiveness of our website. We use Cookies to determine which of our websites are particularly popular, which are less popular, and how visitors navigate through them. We also receive this information in aggregated form from third parties who support us with analysis. These Cookies help create statistics on the frequency and use of the various elements that make up the Vorwerk Sites (sections and content visited, navigation paths). They enable Vorwerk to improve the relevance and usability of the Sites.
3.4. Marketing Cookies
These Cookies are set directly by our website or by our advertising partners. They make it possible to create profiles based on your browsing behavior and show you personalized advertisements. Although no direct personal reference is established, Cookies can uniquely identify your browser and your Device. These Cookies remember the User's previous visit to the Vorwerk Sites, and Vorwerk may share this information with third parties, including advertisers. Although these Cookies can track Users' visits to the Vorwerk Sites and other websites, they generally cannot personally identify Users.
3.5. Other Types of Trackers
Other types of trackers besides Cookies may also be used. This is the case, for example, with web beacons, small graphic images that can be integrated into the Vorwerk Sites or into emails we send to you, which are generally not visible to the User. They allow the tracking of the User's interaction with the Vorwerk Sites or Vorwerk newsletters. In particular, they help us understand whether you have read our newsletter and whether you have clicked on the links it contains, so that we can provide you with offers tailored to your interests. Embedded scripts or pixels are other types of trackers, in the form of code designed to collect information about your interactions with the Vorwerk Sites, such as the links you click. The code is temporarily downloaded to your Device from our web server or that of a third-party service provider. It is only active when you are connected to the Site and is then deactivated or removed. These technologies depend on certain Cookies. As a result, the technologies mentioned above will not work if Cookies are disabled.
On the Vorwerk Sites, cookies such as the following may be encountered (technical names, approximate durations):
cookieyes-consent — necessary (CookieYes): stores consent preferences; does not directly target the collection of personal information about visitors; duration ~1 year.
_cf_bm — necessary (Cloudflare): supports Bot Management; duration ~1 hour.
__hssrc, __hssc (HubSpot) — necessary/internal session analytics: session markers for HubSpot instrumentation; session duration or ~1 hour.
wpEmojiSettingsSupports — necessary WordPress cookie for emojis; session.
woocommerce_items_in_cart — necessary for the WooCommerce cart; session.
Mailchimp landing site, Pll_language — functional (first page visited / language); variable duration (~1 month or ~1 year).
YouTube cookies (prefixes yt-*, Ytdb…) — preferences/playback of embedded content.
sbjs_* (Sourcebuster) — aggregated analytics regarding the source of the visit.
_utma/_utmb/_utmz/_utmt — classic Google Analytics analytics (where still present).
_pin_unauth, YSC, VISITOR_* — related to Pinterest/YouTube services for measurements and player preferences.
Additional technical markers may also appear (e.g., cfuvid, Cookie.js); the list evolves with the site's infrastructure.
Vorwerk may include third-party cookies on the Sites that allow the content of the Vorwerk Sites to be shared with other people.
The Vorwerk Sites may contain links to social networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) in the form of "social plugins". When you open a page that includes such a plugin, your browser may connect directly to the servers of the relevant social network; the content of the plugin is delivered and integrated by that provider.
Social networks may place and read cookies that can help with identification in certain scenarios, especially if you use reaction features or are logged in to the same browser during your visit.
We integrate YouTube content / Google API services in certain places (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin). When content is played, a connection may be established between your Device and YouTube servers; your IP address, our website URL, and other technical data may be transmitted, and cookies may be used to the extent of the consent displayed in the interface. If you are logged in to Google, the data may be associated with your account; logging out before visiting reduces this association.
Vorwerk does not control how social networks or other partners collect information about your browsing behavior on the Sites and link it with other data they already hold.

Cookies that are not essential for the basic operation of the Site are subject to your consent.
Consent is freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous, through a statement or a clear affirmative action. It may be provided through the cookie banner displayed upon the first connection; you may also give or withdraw your consent at a later time, including through the dedicated "Cookies" icon/setting in the Site interface, where available according to the current implementation.
If there is no clear affirmative action indicating consent to the optional use of cookies, it is considered that you have refused that type of use in accordance with the CMP/banner logic applied. Closing or ignoring the banner may be interpreted as a refusal where optional modules are configured accordingly.
The consent given is limited to the use of cookies on the Site according to your selection; refusing cookies should not prevent your general access to the basic content of the Site, where required by law.
The choice expressed (accept or refuse) may be stored by Vorwerk for a limited period (for example, up to three (3) months after being expressed) to avoid asking you the same question again during closely repeated visits. After this period has expired, consent may be requested again in accordance with the current policy, interface, and CMP version.
8.1. On Vorwerk websites
When the User first connects to the Site, Vorwerk provides a Cookies banner displaying the functionality that allows the User to accept or refuse the use of all Cookies, or to accept their use in a differentiated manner, by purpose or by Cookie. By clicking on the cross in the top right corner of the banner, the User can deactivate the use of all Cookies.
A "Cookies" button is also available for Users on the Vorwerk Sites. It is permanently accessible at the bottom left of all Site pages and provides direct access to the Cookie settings module.
8.2. On Your browser
The configuration of each browser is different. This is described in your browser's help menu and allows you to find out how to change the options relating to Cookies:
- Internet Explorer™
- Chrome™
- Firefox™
- Opera™
- Safari™
You can configure your browser software so that Cookies are stored on your Device or systematically refused. You can also regularly delete Cookies from your Device through your browser. However, remember to configure all browsers on your different Devices (tablets, smartphones, computers, etc.).
In the context of the use of cookies and other tracking technologies indicated in this policy, Vorwerk may process personal data about you. For details regarding the legal basis, retention period, categories of recipients, and your rights, please consult the Privacy Policy available on the Site.
The data is relevant for achieving the stated purposes of each cookie and is addressed to authorized Vorwerk services and/or the third-party cookie issuer where applicable.
Certain categories of data may be processed through contracted processors located outside the EU/EEA.
Transfers to such jurisdictions may involve local risks described in the legal documentation published by third-party operators.
Where required by law, appropriate safeguards are used (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and additional proportionate organizational/technical measures).
Vorwerk reserves the right to modify the provisions of this policy and recommends that you consult it periodically to stay informed of the applicable version. The link provided in the cookie consent interface generally indicates the updated version applicable to the session.
